CHURCH LEADERSHIP

We Aim to be Servant Leaders

Our goal as a leadership team is to submit ourselves to the authority of Scripture and use our God-given talents for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Cedric is a graduate of Shepherd University, in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. In addition, he is a graduate of Sovereign Grace Pastors College, in Louisville, Kentucky. For approximately 15 years, he was a bi-vocational pastor, working in the international financial services industry and serving in pastoral ministry.

He is happily married to his wife of 37 years, Alexine, and they have three adult children.

Eldership Advisory Board

The Eldership Advisory Board (EAB) has a two-fold purpose. First, the EAB is a source of counsel for the church’s eldership. This counsel may be requested by the eldership or offered by the EAB whenever deemed appropriate. Second, the EAB is a pool for training potential future elders. While being a member of the EAB does not guarantee that one will become a future elder, all of the members of the EAB will be provided training and serving opportunities to equip them, hopefully, to serve as future elders.

Diaconate Members

In our church, deacons and deaconesses are servants who are called to support the church body through practical acts of care and service. While elders are charged with the spiritual oversight of the congregation, devoting themselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word, deacons and deaconesses are entrusted with meeting the tangible needs of the church family and community. Their ministry promotes unity in the church and reflects the servant-hearted example of Christ.
