Today we are continuing with our Christmas message series. Today’s message is the third in the series and is about the birth of John. John is perhaps the most overlooked person in the Christmas story. In today’s message, we will take a closer look at God’s purposes for John and his place in the Christmas story. In particular, we will be looking at the song that John’s father, Zechariah, sang after John was born. This song is rich in its recounting of God’s saving purposes and John’s role in them. Let’s posture our hearts to hear God’s word today.
