To Whom is Glory Due?

November 19, 2017 Speaker: Lindon Nairn Series: Sunday Gathering Standalone

Passage: Psalm 115:1

How does God get glory through human behaviour? In the Scripture that informs today’s message, we see the Psalmist emphatically pleading with the Lord to act on his nation’s behalf for the Lord’s glory alone. Yet, we believers can agree that genuine desire for God to receive all the glory from our lives is contrary to our fallen nature. It is a position we never fully attain. In today’s sermon, we will be challenged to ask ourselves tough questions like: For whose glory am I doing such and such? And, is my life a billboard for Jesus or myself? Let’s open our hearts to hear God’s word.
