As We Prepare to Vote

May 7, 2017 Speaker: Cedric Moss Series: Sunday Gathering Standalone

Passage: Daniel 4:1–37

In 3 days’ time, voters in our country will vote to elect a new government to govern our nation for 5 years. And there are many prayers being offered by many people, petitioning God for different outcomes. Naturally, many people will be disappointed because their candidate and/or party will lose. However, for those of us who follow Christ, Scripture provides us with a divine perspective that we should embrace as we approach this and every election. One such place in Scripture is Daniel 4, and to provide us with divine perspective as we prepare to vote, this morning’s sermon will consider the message of this passage.
