Wisdom for Living Life Well

August 21, 2016 Speaker: Cedric Moss Series: Ecclesiastes

Passage: Ecclesiastes 8:1–17

Today, we continue our sermon series in the book of Ecclesiastes. Last week, in verses 15-29 of chapter 7, we were once again brought face to face with the fact that our world is broken and crooked, evidenced by the fact that at times righteous people die early while wicked people live long. It is so easy to despair about life. However, we can still live well in our broken world. In the text that we have come to today, Ecclesiastes 8, the Preacher helps us to see that even though our world is broken and wisdom has limitations, applying wisdom enables us to live well. This morning’s message is intended to show us how.
